Beverly Williams Obituary

Beverly Jean Smith Williams left earth for eternity on December 3, 2014. Beverly was born on
November 18, 1926 to Mason and Gladys Allen in Twin Falls, Idaho. She spent her early
childhood years in Rogerson, Idaho and her teenage years in Filer, Idaho, where she graduated
from high school in 1944. Beverly was married to Thomas Chandler, Sr., in 1944, and to this union was born her four children, Pamela, Marilyn, Thomas Junior, and Timothy. Beverly married Clyde G. Smith of Filer in 1960 and they were married for 36 years until Clyde passed away in 1996. In 1997, Beverly married Woodrow Williams of Burley. She and Woody spent the last years of her life taking care of each other until they both entered assisted-living centers, her in Twin Falls; Woody in Burley. They continued to call each other almost every day until she passed away. During Beverly’s years in Filer, she and Clyde fished and traveled, spent their winters in Mesa, Arizona, and had a great life together. She served as a pink lady at the Magic Valley Hospital Auxiliary and served as its president in 1968. Beverly is survived by her husband, Woodrow Williams, her children, Marilyn, Thomas, and Timothy. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela, her parents, and two of her siblings, Hale and Morlea. Funeral services at the Filer Stake Center will be held at 1:00 p.m., December 16, 2014, preceded by a viewing at the Morrison Payne Funeral Home at 321 East Main Street in Burley, Idaho on December 9, 2014 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. The family wishes to thank the staff at Woodstone Retirement Center for the wonderful care they gave our mother during her last months of life.
