Debbie Smedley

Debbie Smedley, 46, of Burley passed away Tuesday. April 10, 2018 at her home in Burley.  Debbie was born on March 16, 1972 in Burley, Idaho, the daughter of Don and Doneva (Friedrich) Sayler. She lived in Burley her entire life and graduated from Burley High School.

She married Gerrad Orton and they had a son, Eric Layne Orton.  They were later divorced.  Debbie married Todd Smedley and they had a son, Lucas Todd Smedley. Todd passed away in 2009.  In 2013 Debbie had her youngest son, Jaxon Ray Berkeley with William Patrick Berkeley.

She is survived by her siblings, Doug Sayler and DeeAnn Dixon, her parents, Don and Doneva Sayler, her children, Eric Layne Orton, Lucas Todd Smedley and Jaxon Ray Berkeley, and Soulmate William Patrick Berkeley all of Burley.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lawrence and Dorothy Friedrich and a very special niece, Nicole Rose Sayler.

Debbie had worked at Albertson's for several years and later at Continental Loans.  She graduated from the Cosmetology School in Burley.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Morrison Payne Funeral Home has been entrusted with her final arrangements.  There will be no funeral service at this time, however a celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Condolences may be shared with the family at morrisonpayne.com.
