Jessie Zolona (Moss) Winter, 86, of Burley, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Park View Care and Rehabilitation Center in Burley. She was born July 2, 1932 to Heber Lorenzo Moss and Mildred Edith Noyes. Jessie was raised in Burley, Idaho and went to high school there.
Jessie married William Noel Winter in 1953. She worked for many years at Simplot and later retired from there. She was also an active member in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held a calling in the Relief Society.
Jessie is survived by her sister Berniel (Moss) Porter, and by her kids Lei Ann Kraus, Wesley Winter, Wayne Winter, Larry Winter, Billy Winter, La Dawn Winter(Refugio), and Teresa Reyes(Eddie) and numerous grand kids and great-grand kids. She is survived by her sister-in-law Claudette Jones.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Tammy Cottom(daughter), three son-in-law’s, and two sister-in-law’s.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 16, 2018 at the Burley West Stake Center. Viewing will be held 6 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Morrison Payne Funeral Home and an hour prior to the service on Friday. Services will conclude at the Declo Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Payne Funeral Home in Burley.
