Anne Armstrong Obituary

Anne Armstrong passed away peacefully on Monday, November 21st, 2016 at home with her family by her side.  She was born November 2, 1933, the third of six children to Albert and Nora Trudeau.  She married her high school sweetheart, Harold Armstrong, on August 16, 1952 in Saginaw, Michigan.  They moved their family to Burley, Idaho, in 1971 and started a family business in 1974.  Anne worked with Harold at the Reloading Center until Harold’s death in 2004.  Many people from the Burley area knew her from the Reloading Center and her little antique shop.

She is survived by her five children, Mary Monter, Rose Armstrong (William Brinn), Susan Eguilior, Joseph Armstrong (Susan), and Loretta Burr, 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.  She is, also, survived by one brother and one sister.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 17th at Little Flower Catholic Church, 1601 Oakley Avenue, Burley, Idaho.  The Rosary will be said at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will immediately follow the Mass at Pleasant View Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to either the Idaho Youth Ranch or the Angel fund at St Nicholas School.

The family would like to thank the Minidoka Memorial Hospital Hospice Team for all their love and assistance and to Lorraine and Margaret for their weekly visits that were so greatly appreciated by our Mother/Grandmother.
