Beverly Nobbs Francis, 92, of Burley passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Highland Estates. Beverly was born to Clarence Gilbert and Thelma Tate Nobbs on August 31, 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She lived most of her life in the Springdale Idaho area on the Francis farm. Beverly married Robert Montgomery Francis July 31, 1952 at the Logan, Utah Temple. She taught school until she had enough money to pay to adopt five children. Beverly stayed home to raise those children and foster kids. She was very skilled at cooking , baking, sewing, and knitting. Beverly was very active in her ward.  She held many callings and went on a mission with Robert to Detroit and later served a Temple Mission at the Logan Temple. Beverly graduated with a bachelor’s degree from BYU in teaching.

Beverly is survived by her five children Dan (Linda) of Woodburn, Oregon. Michael (Nancy) of Winatchee, Washington, David (Barbra) of Burley, Idaho. MaryAnn (Jr) Of Malta, Idaho, and Patricia (Rod) Lloyd of Atqasuk, Alaska. Her sister LaRae Bagshaw of Bountiful, Utah and brother Ronald Nobbs of North Salt Late, Utah.

Beverly is preceded in death by her husband Robert Montgomery Francis, her parents Thelma Tate Nobbs and Clarence Gilbert Nobbs. Her sister Karen Joy Nobbs, and daughter-in-law Linda Jo Weeks Francis.

We would like to thank the Hospice in Twin Falls and Autumn Haven in Rupert for the care and attention they provided to our mother Beverly. Special thanks to Alexis and Angi.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the Springdale Ward Chapel . Viewing for family and friends will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, October 1, 2021 at Morrison Payne Funeral home and for one hour prior to the service at the church. Services will conclude with burial in the Pleasant View Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Payne Funeral Home.
