With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Cameron Barrus on Friday February 20th, 2026. A beloved son, brother, father, uncle, nephew, significant other, coworker and friend, he filled many roles during his time with us. Born October 11, 1989, to Eugene and Ronda Barrus in Burley, Idaho, he was the youngest of 2. Cameron grew up learning a love of the outdoors from his father. He loved hunting, fishing, camping or any outdoor adventure with his family and friends. He loved gatherings with his family and would usually be the first one in trouble when rough housing with his nephews, Archer, Augustine and Emmett, whom he was just as mischievous as them. He hand carved items that he would bring to his dad who he looked up to. Cameron always had friends around him and enjoyed their company. His mother Ronda has a big heart, and it was reflected in the way Cameron would do anything for anybody. Cameron has a big sister, Holly, that always looked out for him and spent lots of time together in California after she moved there with her husband. They enjoyed going to concerts and amusement parks and made lots of memories and friends while he visited. She showed him a world bigger than our beautiful town of Burley. Cameron has 3 beautiful daughters with his significant other, Mercedes “Merky” Snow; Ivory, Allee, and Juniper, whom he loved very much. You could often find them going on some outdoor adventure and usually with his long-time friend Rick or affectionately named Ducky. He loved his friends and family and his country and we love him. Thank you, God, for giving him to us and we will cherish the many memories we have.
Cameron is survived by his parents Eugene and Ronda Barrus, his sister Holly (Seth) Graf, his significant other Mercedes Snow, daughters Ivory, Allee, and Juniper, paternal grandmother, maternal grandfather and so many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and more. We love you, Cameron!
No public services will held at this time arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Payne Funeral home.
