Carol Ann Romig, 79, Boise, died Wednesday, the 23rd of August after a courageous battle with cancer.
Carol was born December 25, 1937 in Heyburn, the daughter of Ona & Elmo Foster. She attended schools at Heyburn and
was a member of the 1st class from Minico High School. She married Lester A. Romig on June 1, 1961 in Burley. Les was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident on Oct. 2, 1977.
Carol was also a member of the Presbyterian Church where she sang in the church choir for many years, helped with
bulletins, and worked as a treasurer for the church’s women’s group. She was a talented sewer and painter. She enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening as well as spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her two daughters, Tina (Greg) Toolson, April (Jim) Cramton, and six grandchildren; Ryan (Michelle)
Toolson, Nathan Toolson, Joshua Ackley, Morgan Ackley, Caleb (Gabrielle) Ackley, and Logan Ackley. She was preceded in death by her only sibling Lyle Foster.
An urn placement service will be held at the Riverside Cemetery in Heyburn, ID at 11:30am on Saturday, September 30th.
Afterwards, a celebration of life luncheon will be held at Henry’s DriftInn in Rupert at 1:00pm.
