Burley - Charles James Middlesworth, age 84 of Burley passed away April 21, 2016 after a short battle with cancer, with his wife by his side.
Chuck was born May 16, 1931 in Wilkensburg, Pa. to Reynold H. and Hazel L. (Skaggs) Middlesworth. He went to school in Beavertown, Pa. and after graduation joined the Navy serving during the Korean War.
Chuck moved to Burbank, Calif. to work for RCA Service, where he met his lifelong love Alberta Ashway. They celebrated their 58th Anniversary on March 9th. They moved to Simi Valley, Calif. where they raised their 3 children Steven, Belinda, and John. They retired to Burley, Idaho in 1994.
Chuck is survived by his wife Alberta, brother Kenny (Nancy) Carl of Ohio, sons John (Loan) of Simi Valley, Calif. Steven (son Danial), grandsons Jason & Michael Meyer and nieces and nephews in Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws- Albert and Cleda Ashway, brother Reynold, sister Betty Jean and his daughter Belinda Susan Meyer.
The Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2016 at Morrison Payne Funeral Home, 321 E. Main Street in Burley with military honors provided by the Mini Cassia Veterans, which Chuck had been a proud member of.
