On the evening of March 29, 2016, Rosario “David” Rodriguez, 69, passed away after a nine-year battle with a pre-leukemia (MDS) disease. He lived in Houston, Texas, and was a former resident of Burley, Idaho. David was born October 6th, 1946, in El Campo, TX, to Monserrate and Lorance Rodriguez. He was the second child of twelve. David is survived by his wife, Daria Rodriguez, his children, and brothers and sisters. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him. David was a truck driver and was the owner-operator of a successful trucking business. He was never idle; he spent his time helping other people. He was passionate about the word of God and sharing the knowledge he accumulated. David was preceded in death by his mother, father, three brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2016 at the Rupert Assembly of God Church, 402 H Street, with Pastor Dan Hendricks, officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery in Heyburn. Services are under the direction of Morrison Payne Funeral Home, 321 East Main Street in Burley.
