Dustin Michael Cotton

Dustin Cotton, 20 year old resident of Burley, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017.  Dustin was born in Rupert to Madona Clark and Michael Cotton.  He lived in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Driggs and Tetonia, Idaho with his mother and lived the last year in Burley and Hansen.  Dustin graduated from Tetonia High School and Job Corps.  Dustin was a great wrestler, played basketball and a little baseball but his asthma was a problem.  He has worked in various agricultural jobs including dairy, custom farming, mechanic and cowboying for an association in Hansen, Idaho.  He was a member of the Tetonia High School Rodeo Club, CCRA Club and rodeo with his mom.

Dustin enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, 4 wheeling dirt bikes, horseback riding, bull riding, team roping, and welding, wood working with his mom, mechanic work with his dad, wrestling and baseball.  Dustin has overcome so many obstacles in his lifetime.  He was born with severe asthma and reflux.  He also had a club foot.  Dustin is a hands on leader and amazing.  When he sets out to do something, it has to be just right.  He can do anything with his hands. 

Dustin is survived by his father Michael (Cindy) Cotton, his mother Madona Clark and three sister Mellish Cotton, Elicia Flores and Jessica Falconburg; his grandfathers Dan Murphy and Henry Clark; his uncles, Hank (Melanie) Clark, Levi (Lisa) Murphy, Tucker Murphy, Ryan Clark, Randy, Art Cotton, and Ralph Cotton.  He is also survived by a niece, Brooklynn Banks.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 16, 2017 at the Rupert Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of Morrison Payne Funeral Home, 321 East Main Street in Burley.  Condolences may be left for the family at morrisonpayne.com.
