Elaine Anderson

Elaine Redfield Anderson, 90, died peacefully on December 27, 2015 in Drumright, Oklahoma. She was born on May 29, 1925 in Burley, the daughter of Frank and Jessie Redfield. She married Jerry Anderson in 1951. Elaine spent most of her life in Burley where she was a homemaker, active in her daughters’ schools, her church and the community. She loved art, crafts, music, gardening and helping people. Later in life she lived in California, Arizona, Florida, and Oklahoma. Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, three sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her three daughters Karen (Chris) Parr, Kayla (Bob) Penprase, and Konnie (Sam) DeShazer; her grandchildren Charity Sheehy, Annie Collier, Jessica Love, Kasey Reeves and Karis Reeves; nine great-grandchildren; and her sister Patsy Dyas. She will be dearly missed but is now at peace and home with the Lord. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Morrison Payne Funeral Home 321 East Main Street in Burley. A viewing will be held for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Burley. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Payne Funeral Home.
