Eric Brooks Ridenour

Eric Brooks Ridenour passed away on November 29, 2021, at his home in Murray. He was surrounded by his loving wife and children.

Eric was born August 30, 1972, in Burley, Idaho, to George Fredric and Vermoyne Ridenour. He spent his early years in Michigan and Wisconsin before moving with his family to California. He loved riding his bike, bothering his sister, playing football and basketball with his brothers and the neighbor kids, racing Hot Wheels and slot cars, strumming the guitar, and drawing.

He always strived to learn more, continually pursuing new skills and trades. Toward the end of his life he learned how to weld and was one final away from receiving his masters in business. He could make and fix anything around him. He loved his family more than anything and it usually kept him up at night when they didn’t take his advice.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mindy, his five children, mother and father, and four brothers and their families.

A service will be held in Provo, Utah, on Friday, December 3, 2021. This will take place at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Summit Ward building, 4000 Foothill Dr. Provo, Utah 84064. The service will be from 6:30pm to 7:30pm with a viewing until 8:30pm. Burial services will be on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 1:00pm in Elba, Idaho at the Grandview Cemetery.
