Jason Jeff Birch

Jason Jeff Birch had the patience of Job! He waited on this life for over 30 years. He listened and paid attention to everything going on around him.  He couldn’t say what he was thinking about, but often you could read it in his eyes. He now walks with his Savior, Jesus Christ, serving with all our loved ones on the other side of the veil. Some would say that Jason needed help, but those that allowed him would say that they needed Jason. Jason brought the good out of many people.  Jason was born November 1, 1984 in Rexburg, ID to Jeff Birch and Marianne Yates. He passed away April 24, 2015 at Cassia Regional Medical Center. Jason was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He attended school at Kennedy Elementary in Rexburg, Dworshak Elementary, Burley Jr. High, and Burley High school. He has great family, friends, and teachers all over. Jason appreciated the services and peers at MDC.  He has baffled many health professionals, and found some of it very humorous. He appreciates the many heart felt efforts in his behalf. Jason loves music, his whole family, going for rides, working in the shop, and watching his favorite character Alf.  Jason is survived by his parents, Jeff (Kim) Birch of Centerville, UT and Marianne (Scott) Yates of Burley, his siblings, Kevin (Courtney) Birch of Meridian, Julianne (Victor) Jaime of Burley, Tyree Yates,  of Powell WY, and Stuart Yates of Deaver, WY, his nephews, Beckett Birch, Joseph, Anthony, Victor Jr., and Daniel Jaime, Taysen Yates, Jayden Yates, and his Nieces, Camryn McAdams and Kylie Yates,  his grandparents, Joy Birch, Gary and Nancy Bjornn, and Ralph and Dolly Yates, and many wonderful aunts, uncles, and cousins! Preceded in death by T. DeWitt Birch, Ted Birch, and Wesley Yates. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, April 30, 2015 at the View Church, 550 South 500 East in Burley.  Burial will follow in the View Cemetery.  Friends may call Wednesday evening at the View Church, 550 South 500 East in Burley from 6:00 until 8:00 and from 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. on Thursday at the Church prior to the funeral.
