Joy Ann Wickel Stone Platts Grantier

Joy Wickel Stone Platts Grantier 88, passed away September 30, 2019 in Newton, Utah. Joy was born on January 30, 1931 in Elba, Idaho to Lem and Anna Wickel. Mom loved to play organ and piano, especially at church. She also loved to collect dolls, write stories, and do church history.
Joy is survived by her husband Richard (Bud) Grantier and by her children Larry Stone, Diana (Brent) Sharp, Jim (Peggy) Stone, Melody (Michael) Mitchell, And Judy Okutani. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-four great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Joy is preceded in death by her previous husbands, John Stone and Bill Platts, her parents Lem and Anna Wickel, her two daughters Sally and Linda(Lizzie), her son Wade, her grandsons Samuel and Jason Stone, and one granddaughter Hannah.
A viewing will be held 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Morrison Payne Funeral Home 321 East Main St. Burley, Idaho. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am Friday, October 4, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Unity 2nd Ward building 275 South 250 East, Burley, Idaho with visitation for family and friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday October 4, 2019. Services are under the direction of Morrison Payne Funeral Home.
