Leola Gransbury

Leola Madge Gransbury was born in Rupert, Idaho on January 8, 1936 and passed to be with the Lord on Friday, December 22, 2017 in Burley, Idaho at the age of 81 years.  She lived in the Paul/Burley area all of her life and enjoyed the simple things in life.  She had a great love of animals and liked to read and work in her yard.  Leola was a hard worker, was always cheerful and usually had good word for others.  She tried to find the best in people.  She will be greatly missed by all those she love and knew well.  She is survived by her long-time partner, Donald Howell of the home; one daughter, Joni Gransbury of Phoenix, Arizona and a very special relative Marjorie Stapleman of Paul, Idaho.  There are also numerous cousins in the Burley area and Don’s children who will miss her.  Those who predeceased her were her son, Randy Gransbury; her sister, Margaret Gehrig; Brother Ralph Cowgill and her parents, Herbert Leo “Lee” and Maggie Firkins.
