Maria Caldwell

Maria Angela Caldwell, exceptional mother and grandmother, loving companion, loyal friend, favorite sister, and champion hugger passed away peacefully at home with her family on December 28, 2016. Born to Glenn and Maryanne Morrison, Maria burst on the scene June 6, 1957, and danced to the beat of her own drum every day of her life. That life led her on many great adventures, gained her many friends, and was always filled with happiness due to her kind and generous spirit. She embodied a unique creativity coupled with a love for nature, music, and art. Her path eventually brought her to her soul mate and love of her life, Robbie Garrett. They happily jammed through their lives to the music of Led Zeppelin until Rob's passing in 2014. Their time together brought them their three children Sunny, Mike, and Holly, and a countless number of unofficial adopted children over the years. As Grandma Ria, she shared a special connection with each of her 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Being a grandmother brought her an unequaled joy and she adored each Azlyn, Jacey, Kristy, Tarran, Silver, Sage, Kaylee, Jayce, Owden, Avanna, Ayden, and greats Audrey and Jaxon, and one on the way that she looked forward to meeting. She is survived by her children and grandchildren and many loved family members and siblings. She was preceded by her soul mate and companion, Rob. They are surely dancing in a meadow or riding the motorcycle through the mountain air together. All who knew Maria are each blessed with a piece of her unique light. 

Cremation arrangements have taken place under the direction of Morrison Payne Funeral Home in Burley.
