Norma Jean Rose, 88, of Heyburn, passed away Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Murtaugh Lake with her family by her side. She was born in Seattle, Washington and lived for many years in Heyburn, Idaho.
Our beloved mom and grandma was loved by so many people. No matter who you were, you were always welcome in and always offered a treat. Mom lived a long life with her family as her greatest joy. Mom passed away doing what she loved, camping and being with family. Thank you for the last 88 years. You will be terribly missed. We love you.
Norma is preceded in death by her husband, Merlin Rose; a son, Randy Rose, a granddaughter, her parents, Adelbert and Ethel Morris, a brother, Lee Morris and a sister, June (Morris) Cole. She is survived by a son, Merlin Dean (Kelly) Rose and a daughter-in-law, Esther Rose, a brother, Melvin Morris, ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two adopted daughters, Kimee Needs and Tina Beckstead.
Norma worked as a CNA at Cassia Regional Medical Center for 25 years in long-term care and she dearly enjoyed this. The family would like to thank Stacey with Horizon Home Health, Michelle with Minidoka Home Health and Hospice, and Doctor Margo Saunders.
A viewing will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, July 12, 2021 at Morrison Funeral Home in Burley. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. at Gem Memorial Gardens in Burley also on Monday. Services are under the direction of Morrison Payne Funeral Home in Burley.
