Ryan Tip Wood

Ryan Tip Wood, our Dad, our Paki; passed in his sleep on Monday, April 21, 2025 in Burley, Idaho from natural causes. Ryan was born in Rexburg, Idaho. Born to Clifford and Darlene Wood who precede Ryan. He is survived by his bothers Sam, Kevin, Tom, Allan, and Eric. Ryan also has three children Gaylen, Gerald and Melissa. Paki (as he’s known by the grandchildren) also has 7 grandchildren; Jeremiah, Matthew, Megan, Catelynn, Olivia, and Grace and his first grandson Akia who precedes Ryan. Paki also has four great-grandchildren and a 5th due in the fall; Ollie, Athena, Hazel, Kaih, and coming soon, Wyatt.
Ryan always loved nature, music, reading, fishing, and camping. Something that he made sure to pass along to his children, grandchildren, and hopefully great-grandchildren as well. Ryan always had a story to tell and an adventure to begin along with all the funny stories he would tell around a campfire. He has left a lasting impression on all our lives by his warmth, laughter, patience and love. Ryan always reminded his children to never forget to take a moment to stop and smell the roses, and that’s one piece of advice from him we hold dear to our hearts. Sometimes we all just need to slow down, stop, and smell the roses. You will be dearly missed Dad.     Lovingly, The Wood Kids

There will be a Celebration of Life held for Ryan on Sunday May 4, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. located at 484 N. 400 W. Paul, Idaho, as well as a potluck. At that time, please feel free to share your stories, and pictures. Services are under the direction of Morrison Payne Funeral Home.
