Shirley Mae Croft

                Our sweet Mom passed away peacefully in her home on April 24, 2023, surrounded by her family.  She was born on June 23, 1931, to Harry and Nellie Berg.  She lived with her family in Springdale and attended schools in Declo and high school in Burley.  She married our Dad John Croft on June 5, 1954, and they had many wonderful years together.  At their home in Burley, Mom and Dad raised three children, Kevin, Shonna and LaNae.

                Mom loved her home and family and we gathered at her home to have fun holiday and birthday celebrations.  She was a wonderful wife, mom, grandma, and homemaker.  She loved to decorate her house and was always very creative.

                Mom was preceded in death by her husband John, her parents, her sister Beverley Berg Denning, Beverley’s husband Gary and their son Kurt, and her son-in-law Gary Russell.

Mom is survived by her three children, Kevin (Cindy) Croft, Shonna Russell, and LaNae (Kirk) Priest, her brother Rick (Susan) Berg, and her sister-in-law Gaye Berg, seven grandchildren, Ryan, Taylor, Adam, Johnny, Hailey, Lindzy, and Abbey, eleven great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

                Our family is so thankful for all the love and care given Mom by her niece, Valle Steube, and dear friend, Elise Cohen – also a special thanks to our friend Barbara West at Harrison’s Hope.

                Mom, we will love you forever.

Graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Gem Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Morrison Payne Funeral Home.
