Terri Lynne Allen, 68, of Burley, Idaho, passed away on February 5, 2026.

Terri was born on January 18, 1958, in Sandpoint, Idaho, to Molly and James Hansen. She graduated from Priest River High School in 1976. Shortly after graduation, she moved to Burley, Idaho, where she built her life and family. In 1996, Terri completed her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from BSU, a milestone that reflected her determination and strong work ethic.

Terri began her professional career at Simplot, where she was a dedicated and highly respected employee for more than 25 years. Her commitment to excellence led her to pursue new opportunities with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), where she served honorably for over 20 years. Throughout her career, she was known for her integrity, dedication, and deep sense of responsibility.

Outside of her professional life, Terri found her greatest joy in her family. She cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She also loved gardening and, most especially, caring for her beloved animals, which brought her immense happiness.

Terri was preceded in death by her parents, Molly and James Hansen; her late husband, Bill Gene Allen; and her stepson, Michael William Allen.

She is survived by her siblings, Lori Hansen; Kelly (Rick) Knox; and Kevin (Kathy) Hansen; her children, Christopher Scott Ayers, Bret James Allen, and Nicole Adine (Raymond) Cope; her stepdaughter, Michele Rae Ketchum; her grandchildren, Dominique Maria (Steven) Hymas, Damian Christopher Ayers, Lucas Gene Cope, Alexander Michael James Cope, Killian Joe Cope, and Liam Ray Cope; and her beloved partner of 15 years, Keith Grewe.

The family extends a special and heartfelt thank you to Keith Grewe for the love, devotion, and care he gave to Terri over the past 15 years.  We would also like to give thanks to Pastor Travis Turner of Grace Community Church, as well as Joel Heward for taking great care of our family with preparations during this difficult time.

A viewing will be held at Morrison-Payne Funeral Home on Friday, February 20, 2026, beginning at 3:00 p.m., with funeral services to follow at 5:00 p.m.

Terri will be remembered for her strength, compassion, unwavering dedication, and the deep love she had for her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
