Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Tonya Durfee passed away with her family by her side on Friday May 3 of 2024 at the age of 62 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 42 years, Nick Durfee; children: Lyle (BreeAunna) Durfee, Dwayne (Sopharry) Durfee, and Michael (Holly) Durfee; grandchildren: Ainzley, Liam, Kinzley, Rafe, Brantley, and Camden; mother, Sharon Harrison; sisters, Marla Helms and Roxann (Kerry) Searle; as well as numerous relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her children: Angela May Durfee and Albert Howard Durfee; father: Dwayne B. Harrison; brother: Laren Harrison, father-in-law: Lyle Durfee; sister-in-law: Vicky (Ken) Knight, Lyla Russel, and Kathy Durfee; and grandparents: Austin A. (Edith B.) Harrison and Eldon (Ruth) Koyle.

Tonya was born in Burley, Idaho on December 20th, 1961.  She enjoyed working in the yard, feeding and watching the hummingbirds, watching sports, canning in the fall, building puzzles, and enjoyed collecting thimbles, stamps, and Vaseline glass. She was active in helping with the church and loved helping in the nursery and primary.  She enjoyed her services as a cub scout leader, cub scout day camp program director, and with scouting activities.

A viewing will be held from 5-7 pm, on Friday, May 10, 2024, at the Springdale 2nd Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, located at 519 E. 200 S. Burley, Idaho. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the Funeral Services which will be held at 1 pm, on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the Springdale Church.
