Tyson Lyle Cole 1966-2022

Our beloved father, husband, grandfather, brother, uncle, and a friend passed away unexpectedly in an accident on January 6, 2022, at home with his wife Terri Dianne Cole by his side.  Tyson was Born July 18th, 1966 to Lyle and Darylann Cole in Boise Idaho into a family of 2 boys and five sisters:  Paris Cole (wife Sadie), Kristen Dougherty (late husband Tim), Lisa Kus, Rachel Andrus (husband Joel), Carmen Moscrip (husband Scott), Corrine Oplinger (husband Dave).

Tyson and his family resided in the Boise area and moved to Caldwell Idaho where he graduated from Caldwell High School in 1984.  In his youth he earned his Eagle Scout which generated a profound appreciation for outdoor family activities including fishing and boating.  From 1986-1988 Tyson proudly served in the Dearborn Detroit Michigan mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  He was a 1992 marketing graduate of Idaho State University with an emphasis in sales.  He excelled in account management because of his bigger-than-life personality and worked for BMSI as a flexible packaging specialist.

He married Terri Dianne (Rhoads) Cole on March 10, 1989 where the two of them embarked on a voyage of fun, faith, and love for the next 33 years.   Terri was Tyson’s best friend and the love of his life.

Tyson is survived by his wife, Terri Cole (Rhoads) son; Bryson Cole (wife Emilee Barker), and his three daughters:  Katelyn Judd (husband Jared Judd), Megan Maldonado (husband Cristian Maldonado), and Terrin Cole.  Tyson and Terri have six special Grandchildren; Nora Judd (alias NoraBug), Gale Judd (alias G-bro), Kragen Maldonado (alias The Dude), Cooper Cole (alias Coopdog), Rockwell Cole (alias Rock Star), Quincy (alias The Quince) Maldonado, and one more special grandson on the way. He is also survived by his parents and siblings who are mentioned above.

At a very young age, Tyson was highly motivated and generally succeeded in everything he did.  His competitive nature helped him land a full-ride football scholarship as an offensive guard at Idaho State University where he competed against players who outweighed him by 50 pounds.   His sense of humor and passion for service endeared him to many and he will be missed by all that knew him.   He was a perfect example of a man who walked the walk and talked the talk.  Tyson lived his life like every day was his last day on earth.  As a devoted father and husband, he made everyone feel that they were first in his life.

Terri and the children have been overwhelmed by all your kindness, love, and support.   We wish we had more time together but we all can value the time we did have with Tyson.
