Vera Irene (Swazee) Hardy

Vera Irene (Swayze)Hardy ,76 of Burley passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020. Vera was born February 7, 1944 to Helen and Art Swayze in Modesto California. Helen later married Lester Boyd who became Vera's daddy. Vera married the love of her life Don Hardy in 1966 and together they had two children.

For many years she worked for Conners cafe and enjoyed working and visiting with her coworkers and customers. But her life was her family, she cared for her mother Helen Boyd till her death. She and Don were always there for their kids, family, or anyone in need. We will always remember Tuesday nights. Tuesday was family dinner night! No one missed it! For many years all were invited.

Vera attended the Pioneer Revival Center in Declo Idaho and was very involved with the church. Vera was preceded in death by her parents Helen and Lester Boyd, her beloved husband Don Hardy. Her brothers Jim and Danny Boyd of California. She is survived by her children Robb (Kelle)Hardy of Jerome, Cathy (Steve)Buerkle of Heyburn and granddaughter Lauren Hardy of Jerome. You will be missed by all. Take peace Vera is with the love of her life Don, and her beloved mother. She will never be in pain again!

A joint memorial service for Don and Vera will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 20, 2020 at Morrison Payne Funeral Home in Burley.   Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Payne Funeral Home in Burley.  Condolences may be shared with the family at www.morrisonpayne.com.
