Zenon Ray Eagle Jr. (also known as pee-paw by his grandchildren) age 71 passed away peacefully at Park View Care Center on Tuesday, August 9, 2022.
Ray was born November 20, 1950 to Zenon and Cissie (Derry) Eagle in Eureka, California. He was one of six children.
He met and married Tress (Thompson) on December 14, 1985 in Elko, Nevada.
Together they combined their families and raised five beautiful children. They were blessed with thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Ray loved to fish. He spent many weekends at his “Secret” fishing holes. He loved to smoke fish and share it with family and friends.
His other interests were hunting, gardening, rock hunting, and spending time with his dogs.
Ray worked many years with Thompson Concrete Construction and TranSystems of Burley, Idaho.
Ray is survived by his wife Tress, of Rupert, Idaho. His children Charmen (Jerry) Bingham of Heyburn, Nathan (Mikal) Eagle of Twin Falls, Melanie (Jared) Rorris of Twin Falls, Jenny (Trevor) Rivers of California, and Kayla (Isaiah) Rodriguez, IL. He is also survived by his sisters Darlene, Ellen, and Annette.
Ray is proceeded in death by his parents Zenon and Cissie, brothers Paul, Mike, and sister Priscilla.
The family would like to thank Parke View Care Center and the many Doctors and Nurses who helped care for Ray.
The family has chosen to honor Ray at a later date. Cremation had been entrusted to Morrison Payne Funeral Home in Burley, Idaho.
